The Wurlitzer firm imported violins from the world’s finest luthiers and this is one of them. It has a wonderful rich, warm, tone and an excellent overall rating. It was probably made in the late 1800’s.
The condition is very good. There are no crack repairs, only the usual re-gluing of open seams.  The finish shows signs of very regular use. The f-holes show wear from what looks like amateur soundpost adjustment. The pegbox was bushed for new pegs.

Set up with D’Addario Zyex strings.
