Antonio Curatoli violins were made in Germany, even though they have an Italian-sounding name. “Antonio Curatoli” was the trade name used by the workshop for this model. They are solid, well-made violins, with a great reputation for producing a very nice tone. This one is an Amati copy, with an interesting red-highlighted varnish.
