1925 Frederick Geisler Violin
Made in Saxony Germany
I have to say this violin surprised me. The tone evaluation is very good. I was surprised because this is one of the mass market violins that were produced in Germany. They had an efficient system and molds, that produced a consistent-looking product on the outside. It was the inner work that lacked the attention to detail. But still sometimes they got lucky, and made a violin that sounded way better then one would expect. This is one of the lucky ones.
The condition is good. There is only one repaired saddle crack under the chinrest. It is a little rough looking, but good and solid and properly set up.
Set up with D’Addario Helicore strings with four fine tuners.
