Fine 1927 Collin-Mezin Violin
High-quality French violin from the famous Collin-Mezin workshop. The Collin-Mezin violins are highly regarded and sought after by fine violinists for their quality of tone and construction. This one is the most beautiful of all that I have had. It has the flatter top under the bridge, typifying the individualistic character of Collin-Mezin Jr.
Very good condition. There is only a small repaired wing crack and minor varnish scratch by the treble f-hole.
Set up with Evah strings.
I will be making some small changes and returning this violin for another evaluation.
My friend liked this violin even better than his Henry B. White violin.
