Very Good Unlabeled German Violin!
This is an excellent violin. The quality of construction is evident inside and out. Beautiful selection of wood with lovely flaming in the maple. The quality also comes out in the tone evaluation. This violins evaluation is exceptional. It was most likely made in the 1920’s.
The violin is in very good condition. There is a small repaired crack off the treble f-hole. What looks like a repair under the E string and bridge is just a dark grain line. Normal varnish markings and edge ware.
The violin is set up with Dominant strings.
