Excellent 1903 Henry B. White Violin
If Henry is related to the famous American violin maker Asa White is not clear, but he was trained by Asa White’s employee Orrin Weemann. This violin by Henry B. White is the best American made violin I have seen. Wonderful dark tone. Rich crackled oil varnish. Henry B. White is truly a great American luthier.
The condition is excellent. There is a only a small area of repaired edge on the upper bout treble side.
Set up with Dominant strings, with a gold “e” string.
