The condition is excellent! There are no repairs. Only a few minor marks on the varnish.
Set up with D’Addario Zyex strings.
Excellent Friedrich August Heberlein workshop violin with a smooth warm tone. Rich, dark brown varnish. Friedrich August Heberlein is a trade or model name. I believe they were made in the same workshop as the Antonio Curatoli violins. They have the same type of label and the same three letter (GRW) symbol in a circle. Both the Curatoli and Heberlein models have full corner blocks and consistent quality of construction and good tone.
