1800’s Friedrich August Glass Violin.
This Fried. Aug. Glass violin is the most interesting of all that I have seen. The quality level is higher in some ways from the other violins I have seen by this maker. Its wonderful warm-dark tone is a nice match to its warm-dark varnish. Take a close look at this violin.
The condition is very good! There are three minor repairs on the treble f-hole side. The varnish is in remarkably good condition!
