Late 1800’s German Workshop Stradivarius Copy.
This a good example of the mail order violins that were common in the 1800’s. Most were made in German workshops using an external mold for consistency where more that one person worked on a violin. Corner blocks are not needed for this type of construction. Some workshops did put in false blocks for looks. The lack of corner blocks does not affect structural integrity, although it does show it was made in a workshop with more than one craftsman.
The condition is good. There are two repaired cracks on the lower bout and a center seam repair under the tailpiece. The usual signs of use for a violin well over 100 years old.

Set up with D’Addario Helicore string.
SOLD Violin only.
