The violin is in very good condition. The only repair is the button on the back.
It is set up with D’Addario Zyex strings.
This is a Master Art-quality violin from the early 1900’s. It has characteristic signs of the top end models from the European workshops of its day. The scroll was grafted during the time of construction, to emulate the original model that was being copied. The button is crowned with ebony as well. The varnish was originally applied to show age, but it has plenty of natural wear from its 100 years of use, as well.
