The top has one short repaired wing crack and a lower bout repair near the edge on the treble side. The button on the back has been repaired and the rib on the lower bout bass side has a repair as well.
It is set up with D’Addario Zyex strings.
I changed the setup and will be taking new photos as it now has a regular tailpiece and Zyex strings. The new tone evaluation is very impressive if you are looking for a very dark toned violin.
In 1898 W. Williams re-graduated this violin for optimum tone and put in a new bass bar.
