c1900 Francois Barzoni Violin Made in Germany.
Francois Barzoni was a trade name for violins manufactured for Beare & Sons in London about a century ago. They were made in workshops in France and Germany, of various levels of quality, with prices to match. This one is a German-made violin, as the label clearly shows. Even though it was made in Germany, the workshop used the French trait of outlining the scroll with black edging.
The violin is in very good condition---it is without any repairs.
Set up with D’Addario Zyex strings.
