1912 Violin Imported and Regraduated by Joseph Collingwood.
Joseph Collingwood - 1853 to 1928. He was a remarkable violin maker from Ottumwa, Iowa. He produced some 600 violins during his successful career. As seen here, he filled part of the demand by importing violins and finishing them himself. By doing this, he could increase his production, and provide more affordable instruments, as well.
This violin is in very good condition. The only repair is a bushing so the end pin could be properly aligned. This is a wonderful violin at a very affordable price.
Set up with D’Addario Zyex strings.
