Early 1900’s French Violin from the Mirecourt School.
Nice French violin with a rich, clear, warm, and resonant tone. Nice one piece back. It has no markings to indicate which maker or workshop it came from.
It is in very good condition. The varnish show that it has been played considerably. The scroll has a two tone piece that almost looks like it was glued on, but I am sure it is just a variation in the wood grain.
Set up with Dominant strings, I am not sure what the E string is.
