1901 Salvadore de Durro Violin.
The Salvadore de Durro violins are affordable workshop made instruments. I have had several over the years, they consistently are a good value. I pick these up when ever I can to offer respectable sounding violins at a lower price. This one has very excellent: clarity, overtones, resonance, responsiveness, and balance. It has a very pleasing bright tone. Most impressive in every way.
The condition is very good! The two bottom corners on the top have been repaired.
