This is a top end Roth probably from the mid to late 1930’s. If it was in excellent condition it would be worth $5000 or $6000 or more. The top of this violin had some serious damage with both soundpost and base bar cracks. The cracks were very professionally repaired. The varnish touch up appears to have been done by someone else with less skill. This is a great opportunity to get a top end Roth for the price an entry level Roth.

The condition is good now! It has had soundpost and base bar repairs. All the cracks are very well repaired. Varnish touch up is not perfect.
