This violin is probably from the mid to late 1800’s. The tone evaluation is wonderful! If you are looking for something that is a little out of the norm, but pleasing in every way, this may be just what you are looking for. It does not follow any of the typical models such as: Stradivari, Guarneri, Amati, or even Stainer. The ribs are narrow, the arching is moderately high. The outline is rounder at the top and a little wider at the bottom. Very interesting!
