Why it was relabeled is a mystery. I think this violin is a Juzek from the 50’s or 60’s, but it is not a “Master Art” model. None the less it is a well made violin, but not to the same standard or price point of a “Master Art”.
The violin is in good condition. I could not find any repaired cracks. There is an area on the lower bout that was polished smooth. This may have been the result of a failed touch up of a scuffed area, or the beginnings of, but aborted French polish.
The violin is set up with Dominant strings.
