Wonderful French Mirecourt Violin by M. Couturieux
This violin is an excellent example of the fine string instruments that were made in Mirecourt in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. Violins from the M. Courturieux workshop were made according to the highest standards. This violin has one of the best tone evaluations I have had in some time. This is a great violin!
This violin is in excellent condition. There are no repairs. The neck has been narrowed some and the top appears to have been French-polished. There are a few touched-up scratches.
This wonderful violin is setup with D’Addario Zyex strings.
