The only repair is to the center seam under the tailpiece, and some minor varnish touch-up.
It is set up with D’Addario Zyex strings.
Antonio Curatoli violins were made in Germany, even though they have an Italian-sounding name. “Antonio Curatoli” was the trade name used by the workshop for this model. They are solid, well-made violins, with a reputation for producing a good tone. This one sounds clear and powerful.
